  1. Not to sure what that word was meant to be but something like an eno or tensile is a good bet.
  2. Yer I get that it would move both pads but how? You would need two arms on the caliper to get both pads to move at the same time wouldn't you? A hydraulic brake uses the fluid to push both pad but I don't get how a cable brake could achieve this duel movement?
  3. The geo on a 20" is wrong, yes they are easy to spin, but a 24" is easier as it as a lower bb rise and dosn't have a stupidly long stem. Also thing like chain stay length effective it but you get my point.
  4. If you want to learn to side hop, gap, ect 20" is the way to go! It will be so much easier, generally speaking people move on to 24" bike when they have been riding for a while and have nailed the basic's and want to ride with a bit more style. £300 will be you a good second hand bike something like a good spec'd zona or echo.
  5. Duel pull a, how does that work out of interest; getting one cable to make two pads move? Please explain
  6. Did you even have your eye's open when you were writing that?
  7. Tensile chain tensioner, it was sh*t. Bolts all rounded off (I was being careful), couldn't get it to tension my chain properly, then sold it to my mate and he manage to snap it in 10 mins!
  8. That was well cool, don't know what I liked more the riding or how excited the Japanese announcer sounded!
  9. Cool video, a bit to long for my liking with to much of the same thing. But having said that the 3mins I watch were quite good.
  10. Just start small and work up I started off small walls about 2ft ish, anyway my highest drop is off a bottle bank so 6ft around. Then again once you can drop 6ft smooth then there isn't really any point trying to go higher unless you really want to.
  11. Nath your face is well funny, but I have to say the one of rob on the right hand side of this image isn't much better
  12. One way I heard of is to solder around where the spokes cross over. Its meant to make the wheel super stiff, until it just make the wheel fold over. Never tried it though.
  13. RB booster for the win ! I like running a booster on any frame I run, it helps frame flex, but manly it protects your cross over
  14. Well ebay should have some good second hand bikes for the price of a new rip. Just had a quick look and found this online, good example of the kind of bike you should be able to get.
  15. Personally I think its much better to get a second hand trails bike then your spending around the £300 mark. £300 gets you a very basic bike new, but a second hand bike you get maggie's along with other high quality components. However if you really want a new bike spend the extra £40 and get the bird.
  16. Same here 170mm crank for the win!
  17. Cool video, how long you been riding?
  18. I ride mine for tgs, its isn't as easy to do those move on as a 'proper' trials bike still doable, at worst you would lose an inch or two of you side hop's ect... but its worth it as it allows to you to do other things so much better. Also it isn't anymore crapped then a mid wheel base mod, my friend is about 6foot and dosn'r have any issues then riding.
  19. Second that bump. I just managed to get the day off work so will be coming on Sunday, be good to see you again dave.
  20. O dear god that was insane, I think I have to say that was my favorite trials video I have EVER seen. Well done Danny!

  22. Just looking at all of the inspired's and was wondering if anyone run's one without a dmr moto tire on the front! Seems to be the tire of choose.
