  1. I use front disc also, and would have to agree 4 months in and still running smoooooth.
  2. Looks very professional make it so you can click the light switch to turn the light on and off
  3. I've used the bikhut several times and all good but I don't doubt it'll break sooner or later.
  4. Just go into halfords. They do park tool & bike hut ones (cheaper). You could try a centre punch and hammer, but a chain tool is much easier and is less likely to bugger up any links.
  5. Ram a screw-driver in there and tap it out with a hammer (at your own risk )
  6. If that's the same as the 2000 t-mag, then I think you could probably get something better for £200.
  7. ha I've had the same problem recently on my t-pro. I just greased and tightened up everything around the bb (cranks, tapers, bb, pedals, freewheel). Check your chain alignment, and whether the bearings in the freewheel are still in the same position. If its rattling its probably likely they're not. EDIT:// >>>My Topic<<<

  9. sweet. I'll just have a little play with some power tools cheers for your help mark EDIT:// ha ha I took it down my lbs, and they couldn't get the freewheel off either... so I've ground the tabs down for now (all works well ), and I'll take a hacksaw to it at a later date. ^^ Just thought I'd post up the results, incase anybody searched.
  10. I was thinking about grinding them, but wasn't sure if I'd still be able to get the freewheel off, asI've tried and failed already :$
  11. ha ha, man your trying well too hard to get validated. Great picture btw. But as said above the text needs something done to it, as it seems a bit bold at the moment. Maybe try a lower opacity, and a nice texture to it. Try to make it flow with the rest of the picture... or just remove it?
  12. I just use an allen key to tighten it which is probally why its gone... and by tabs do you mean the 4 pieces of metal sticking out for the freewheel tool?
  13. as long as it's thin enough to make a difference? I don't wanna fork out for that if it doesn't fix it
  14. darn. Would a dicta freewheel suffice? I mean is it thinner than an ACS? I've literally just got these cranks
  15. yea the whole lots is greased up merrily. When you said about streching the tapers, did you mean the threads? because I'd sooner buy a new bb than a new freewheel
  16. Yeh that sounds about right, because it spins nicely before I do that last little turn on the crank bolts. I've tried it with the bb nice and tight, and just hand tight and neither are really effecting it. Just used some grease to tighten them.. *Castrol LM Grease* And yea its an ACS Claw :$ Cant really afford an eno at the moment EDIT:// New bb??
  17. Took off, cleaned, regreased everything; except the freewheel and now it seems the freewheel is rubbing against the bb, making it near impossible to turn the cranks and I've checked the chain tension (it's not that making it stiff to turn), but it just really hard to turn. I took the right crank off... and everything ran smooth, so its not a case of the bb not turning. The freehweel and the bb are both done up nice and tight as well..... (not too tight). I'll have a look at the alignement, cheers for the help so far lads
  18. Everytime I pedal down the cranks/bb gives a clicking noise. I'm running some echo cranks (6061 forged) on a shimano? bb (square tapered [FFW]) on my t-pro. Any idea what this is/how to fix it? PS: this is a different noise to the creaking noise... I've had that before

    Qr Choice.

ha ha, we've just had a recall on shimano screwers sold after november 5th, as they could be faulty
  20. If you intend to do trials, don't buy your bike from halfords (they're cheap for a reason)
