  1. There good bikes for the money. I rode one the other day as seeing as stock is not my thing i found it alright to ride a little too long for me but im a short arse. So most things a too long for me. Deffinatly a good bike for getting into trials on the spec is alright the front break even though not from a major manufacture is a quality breaks feels really nice. 450 is a good price rrp is 600. Joe
  2. Its good from a customer point of view and also from the shops view in an idealistic world where everyone does what they say they will. Some shops offer a short of finance system where you pay so much in every week or whenever but the bike dose not leave the shop until you have fully paid it off. So the shop cant lose out. I can see it helping a lot of people get into biking. But the shop is at a lot of risk if the customer cant pay up as second hand used bikes are not worth anywhere near as much as the rrp so the shop has lost out. Thats my view Joe
  3. Mole grips bench grinder works great i had to do mine the other day just take it slow and make sure the pad is hitting the grinding wheel square or you will just make things worse. joe
  4. Some wicked riding there mate. Well done on the editing as well. Your riding is really coming along getting much bigger. Keep it up mate. Great Riding joe
  5. Iv ridden on my own since i started riding trials. No one in my town rides any type of riding part from some gay roadies. I follow the words of the i pod advert and "plug into a higher source" in my case an ipod full of music thats what keeps my riding. Iv got a mate that comes out if i beg him a lot but he spends most of his time with his girl friend. Riding on your own isnt great but if it keeps you riding its all good. I go through patches where i just dont wanna ride because its boaring but if i can make myself get out on my bike i feel better for it after. Joe
  6. Looks ace guys well done work shop area looks nice no bike stands or are they somewhere else? Well done keep it up! joe
  7. That was really good mate well done nicely edited ok some bits of sound where not perfect but no one is so well done. Thanks joe
  8. Errrrrrr that is strange dont no what sort of tool you need then mate. joe
  9. You will need a tool a normal bottom bracket tool should do any decent bike shop should be able to sell you one failing that any good bike shop should be able to fit the bottom bracket for you. There not that hard to fit. You just need to be very carefull well threading the cups in. There is a certain order you must follow and if i remeber correctly it is non drive side half in then drive side full in and then non drive side full in and make sure both cups are as tight as you can get them. I no its not a very clear explanation but with a bb tool i think you will strugle anyway. Hope this vage advice helps a little. Joe
  10. How you mean weird like some sort of hydro forming ? Il check when im at work on Saturday.
  11. You can hardly slag diamond back off for copying another frame. everyone does it iv ridden one and i have to say they feel great to ride really nice on the back wheel. Spec is good as well. For 600 quid your getting what is essentially a pitbull. Diamond back are just branching out into another area of bikes trying to get more people into the sport by offering a cheap starter bikes in the lower model. Joe Edit
  12. Ummmmm alu i think 794g which is about 10x lighter than my old onza ones. 60 quid if you want them with the graphics you will have to ring super cycles as tarty bikes dont have them with the graphics. Yeah gonna be a while till i can get the tensiles on there. Thanks for the comments. joe
  13. O cool. haven't been able to ride it yet because when i was removing my old forks a bit of my headset fell out which i dident no was there so when i put the new ones in with out it they wobble around a lot. So need to find the bit that fell out. Yeah those cranks are rubbish iv got a set of tensiles on my desk right now just need a isis bb then i can get it just how i wont it. I put a tensile freewheel on the rear untill i though it would be easyer to bed in with a larger front ring as its easier to ride long distances on. Thanks for the comments. Joe
  14. is it a standard spec one. Nothing added not even some decent pads. If so new pads probably a booster. Maybe some new bars. Or try and save a little more and get a pro2. Joe
  15. 127mm will be probley been more than enough. If your running front freewheel cranks.
  16. Got some new bits today so thought i would post up some pics Got some zona zedd forks. Iv also got some tensile cranks to go on it just waiting for a new bb dont no how it rides withe new forks because i forgot part of the headset when i was putting them in and dident notice untill i got home to finish them off. But i do no there are very very light forks. Also put a tenisle freewheel on the back untill i get the cranks.
  17. Bugger sounds like it must of fallen out when i was taking the old forks off and i ovously didn't notice. Bugger will have to ring work and tell them not to throw it away god i feel stupid i was in such a rush to get them on i must of missed it. Bugger. Thanks a lot mate. Joe
  18. I have one of those at the top of the headset is there one at the bottom to? I brought some spacers. Dident have the cutting guide to cut the steer tube.
  19. 0000000 Extra race bit ? Is this the ring that has a bit missing? Thanks for the quick reply your ace. Joe
  20. I brought some new forks today fitted them but i dont seem to be able to get them to stop moving forwards and backwards in the headset i fitted the crown race to the forks. Everything is tight there is just a large amount of movement seems to be in the bottom headset bearings the cup is not moving. Any help would be greatly thanked. Joe
