Just thought i would use up the old footage on my computer before my new bike turns up in the week (witch means i will go out and get you guys a proper video). Trying to edit a video on my dad mac, and it doesn't have the codec to play the xvid movie files, so i went to get the codec and it told me that i need to 1st download quicktime and a Divx codec, i downloaded the Divx codec but did not need to download quicktimes as that already came with the mac. So i went to Library and looked for /quicktime, this did not exists, so i thought maybe because it came with it, it would not have the folder so i downloaded quicktime from apple and it still did not give me a folder. No /quicktime folder = Me not being able to watch or edit xvid files. Please could someone with a bit of mac knowledge get me out of this annoying mess.

Thankyou all for the comments, your right i do need to seriously think about this. It may turn out well or it may go tits up, i would love to be able to say i will still be with her at 18 and then maybe do a years aprentaship (without geting a flat) then get a real job? Its stange but i wont a flat with her so bad and she feels the same, aside from billys etc id love to think that i have a little place for me and her with all our stuff in it a little crappy tv with and old battered playstation for rainy days. You're right it will be a test, but its somthing that we are prety shure we would get through belive it or not our relationship has been through some seriouse hard times even though its only been a year but to be honest i don't know how it has servived but it has and it is a very strong relationship.
