You will need a tool to do it properly, ie getting it in straight, and it doesn't need to be too far down as the bolt that screws into it wont fit... Best bet is to get a shop to fit it, its not exactly a hard job for them. Cheers, Rorz!

Just a quick question, is the chain method used to take it off a crank aswell, i have an Echo crank and bashring with fixed cog and i want to take them both off.
