Yeh listen to him.If you feel good on a mod get a mod...You know it makes sense Well if you do decide to go mod,the t-pro looks a good bet ive never rode one but lots do so they cant be bad

I've spent a good hour cleaning and lubricating my brakes and what can i say,there immense cant see how Magura's could be much better nice and smooth with lots of bite.Thanks for helping people

Ok.Well i was out last night practisin and i can control it now, it's more-a-less natural now which is good.I can stay on the back wheel forever now that i have my brake sorted also being more vertical helped alot too.

Yes i've heard good things about them.My old mountain bike had a hope mono mini which i liked a lot better than my cable brake.

Right then. Ive had my cranks off and tightened the bottom bracket up and there's no play (slack) anymore.But there is one problem,it's not smooth its notchy also sometimes it clicks.Will this mean i'll still have too buy a new bottom bracket?

Well,my mam always says "your always wrecking your bikes and spending loads of money on it" and i say mam ive only broke the handlebars because they where crap and she would say "im not suprised i seen you pulling wheelies on the front" and then i would laugh then she would say "our Jonathan (brother) had his bike forever and never spent anything on it" i would say yes thats because he went to the shop on it every now and then ect.....But my dad buys me motorbike stuff just not cycle stuff

Sorry,its actually me in the wrong i did it wrong.Ive done it now though there's a noticeable difference so thanks alot.Do them pads work good on a smooth rim though because it says "designed for a grind" on tartybikes. Thanks

Do you mean put it on the bottom notch because i put it on the top and it made it less springy?

Hey, I have ovation single digit 3 brakes with tektro levers and the front brake is quite good but the rear is just lame. Could someone tell me the best way to set them up so they work better (like a step-to-step guide or something)I want some magura HS33 but i just dont have the money at the moment as im spending it on more important components.If anyone could tell me how to make them better on a tight budget that would be great. If this helps i only have like standard pads (pro max) but they still have life left in them.Maybe's if i bought better pads would this help at all? Thanks in advance

I use the odi hardcore lock-ons too,i really like them they have lasted ages and are so comfy.I only paid £15 for them off ebay(new).They are on the way out now but all you need to buy is the replacements which are the same price as an average grip.
