  1. Where do you live. There's nearly always a few on around my area (and affie's).Ive only been doing trials since december and have already done about 15 or so trials which is great. In a motocross season there is only that on in the whole year. Also the trials are normally within 50-60 mile and again in motocross that would be the shortest distance you would travel.Theres 4 on here at easter time. EDIT:Manxrider ive just read the comments I know its for mountains bikes but god they dont half take it offensivly. They need to calm down.
  2. Orite Affie, Some nice photo's youve got there. Heres some of me from saturday on my new steed. Pinkbike photos Any comments appreciated.Im not thread jacking i just dont want to clog the forum up by posting a new topic when i can post it here.
  3. I am using odi ruffian lock-ons and there great. They have now gone down to the plastic as ive used them loads but all i need to do is buy some replacements which cost about £7.You cant fall off they are very comfy, look good and last ages.I wouldnt mind getting some gusset b*****d grips next the only reason being is that they come in pink.
  4. Where the youngest out of everyone so far.Yey go us! Hmmm is this a good or bad thing.Suppose its a good thing we have more time to practice and get better
  5. Stop telling porkies mister If your that old im 47
  6. Hi, Ive been trying to convince my dad it isnt just kids that do bike trials and that older people do it to.I suppose the best way to prove it is by everyone putting down the age.So if everyone posts there age it would be helpful. Please be honest. Anyone under 6 or over 50 gets a mars bar of me. EDIT:Oh yeah im 14
  7. Hey, I cant answer any of your questions apart from i do know that the onza carbon bars wont snap from general use as long as your general use isnt 30ft drops. Anyway JT of here has some onza carbon bars for sale and hes a good guy (just bought v12's) from him.His msn addy is jonathantrillo@hotmail.com If i was you i would buy the onza carbon ones they look bling and im sure they are very strong and light. Also JT should give you a good price. Also i would imagine the t-master stem would be absolutely fine with the carbon bars. Good luck.
  8. Trials shops.....Yes i see what you mean I wouldnt imagine you would be able to find all these links on google and even if you could it would take a hundred times longer than just coming on here. Also its helpful to people that are new to trials and dont want to spend ages looking on google. Think you covered them all the ash...hehe.
  9. Sorry if this has been posted before but ive never seen it in my time here.Basically just post up all the useful/good websites you can think of. www.trashzen.com for everything you need to know about trials really. www.selectbikes.com www.cleanbikes.co.uk www.supercycles.co.uk www.tartybikes.co.uk for all your bike components, frames and of course bikes. www.imageshack.us for hosting images of your bike and action shots ect... www.eengoedidee.nl for video hosting. www.observedtrials.net/ www.biketrials.com www.trialsin.com anything goes.
  10. Sounds like a good idea. What is checker plate and where abouts do you get it from.My dad is a hands-on sort of person so he could probably do it.
  11. I got mine from wiggle.Free delivery and recieved it 2 days after i ordered it.Good service. Link here
  12. Right, well i know every one hates damaging there bikes so lets share with others what we do to protect them. Ill start it off... 1.Well the first thing i did when i got my bike was i put green hosepipe on the chainstays on both sides to protect them from getting chipped if a sidehop goes wrong and also i think it looks cool to. 2.Secondly i put black insulation tape around the fork legs to prevent them from getting scratched and looking rubbish. You cant even tell its there when you look at the bike so this was a neat mod. 3.I didnt actually put this on but theres like a pad on my stem,it was there when i bought the bike ive never actually found out what its for but im assuming its to protect them stem. 4.I have put a strip of insulation tape where the brake cables run to stop it scuffing the frame. 5.I havent done this to my trials bike but on another bike i cut an oval out of thick black insulation tape and put it on my cranks so they looked as if there was no wear,i took it off when i sold them and they looked new.Sorry no picture Im sorry about the poor quality picture.i took them using my phone. Thanks
  13. Hahaha I remember when i went when i was younger and i must admit there was loads of weirdo's there Bit scary actually.I remember doing a wheelie and this drunken hobo was shouting "go on kid, yeeehaaaa" so i started pedaling rather quickly Can some off you guys add me and maybe we could meet up?
  14. I ride moto trials.I sort of dont have a bike at the moment but ive been lending my dads mates gas gas 250 for the last few months.Im getting an 05 125 gas gas soon though so that should be good.I could even get a 06 but thats only if i stop doing motocross and do trials. Its very hard deciding It sucks
  15. Nice bike dude....The forks make it look 5 times better than the standard ones.
  16. Not my girlfriend...Yet...But i love her real bad too
  17. Thanks for your help boys its much appretiated.I have put them where you lot have said you put them so hopefully its comfortable. The reason why i have them level is because i have them like that on my Moto trials bike and my motocross bike so it was just what i was used to but obviously there was no sidehopping and stuff on them.
  18. Where does everyone like to have there levers.I normally find it comfy having them level with the floor if you know what i mean. But i found out tonight that it hurts my finger (front brake) when i do side hops,it like bends it back.Ive noticed quite a few people have theres low in videos,so how do you have yours and why do you have them like that? I know its difficult to state but just...Low...inbetween....high would do. Thanks in advance
  19. Ive got another one.Ive been side hopping tonight and when i went to sidehop i put my foot down without trying to make it,it was just like a bad habit.Got better after about 2hrs of constant sidehopping though
  20. Yeh i suppose it is but it is still more exspensive than darts or dominoes And have you ever played them, the adrenalin rush is immense. The reason i dont like it is because i do motocross and my dad pays for that and it costs a bomb so i have to use my own money for trials, but yeh if you do trials and nothing else its really cheap but i dont so thats why its one of my pet hates
  21. I was just think about things that really p**s me of so i thought i'd make a topic about it. Well the main things that annoy me in trials are: 1.When people ask you why you havent got a seat or why are you hopping about on the back wheel on that bmx for? 2.Just the cost of trials in general like bike and components ect... 3.When people shout at you for riding on rocks and benches..I know we are in the wrong but they dont have to shout. I can think of more but ill leave that to you guys.So come on whats your pet hates
  22. That would be cool I think im going so if you want to ride i certainly will.Add me to msn and well chat. Thank you.
  23. Hi everyone, My dads asked me if i want to go to Bexhill (down south) to see my uncle for the weekend.I was just wondering if any of you people have been there, and whats it like for riding. Also if anyone does live there would you be up for a little ride out,im there from thursday to friday and ill have nothing to do apart from ride.So do you think its worth a 6 hour drive there and back in a van? Help appreciated.
  24. I though that was ace your both real good riders to.
