People In The Portsmouth Area Please Read
human_furball replied to human_furball's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I got the insuracne looked at and this is what I have been told so far. If it isn't covered Direct Line will phone us by the end of Monday. If it is covered we should get a call by the end of the week. I have to pay £60 if the do refund me for the bike but it's better then not getting refunded at all I suppose. Chris -

The post is there because a guy in the shop said that chavs were crowded round it but it was there when he looked and you wouldn't be saying that if it was our bike stolen. I am just putting this on here because I know there are a lot of riders in Pompey and some are more helpful then others that decide to moan at me for posting. Chris -
What a day. Went out to see if anyone was riding and no-one turned up. I thought oh well sunny day I'll do a bit on my own. After a while i got tired and decided to get some food. Locked my bike to a lamp-post and when into a little shop. When i cam back out the lock was on the floor and the bike was gone. Just like to ask people in the portsmouth area if they could keep a look out for a Red saracen mad 2.6 with black maguras that have 05 levers, DMR V8 pedals and a rather beaten up right crank arm. If you do find it could you call me on my house phone 01329310780, or my mobile 07919148239 and ask for Chris, or talk to me on MSN. Thanks for any help i get. Chris

I took the reflectors off, that was the first day I rode it, as soon as the thing was together i didn't care what it looked like i wanted to go learn stuff but i cracked them off with a screwdriver when I got home. Yeah that is Ramvilles by the way. Chris

Great bike Sam, nice to ride to but I think you got the next part wrong. I believe your headset needs replacing first. Chris

Dj Ride. May 13th, Which Is A Saturday!
human_furball replied to stuntsbyjon's topic in Member Organised Rides
Afternoon All Wow. This ride sounds incredible. You can count me in for the ride on saturday but not the party because of GCSE's and all need to study during that time. I will try to bring down as many people as I possibly can. I know a few people that are already going. Sure I can arrange a mini DJ to come help us when we ride (hes got a bag with speakers and an ipod sewn into it that he rides with) So we can have some extra music around if we split into groups. All of this for Deej is really really great of you guys. Didn't know Deej but I'm gona come pay my respects and hopefully learn some stuff (been riding since 12th of March). I have added you on MSN so i can talk more about it but count me in whatever the weather (unless my bike isn't all in one piece). Chris -
If the weather is good I want to be there. I have almost got the hang of bashin and I heard there maybe some stuff I can do there. Chris

Yeah time, what do you call time when you are working three nights a week after school till 9pm when no-one else is out riding. I have to work to get my parts as unlike some people I have never had pocket money as my parents wanted to teach me it's value (although i still buy stuff off my dads credit card). But yes I have this problem. Riding becomes a hard thing to master when you are stuck behind a shop counter. I could try indoor trials but I don't think people will be to impressed. I have a solution to this though. You simple work hours like weekday evenings when no-one can be bothered half the time to go riding and keep your weekends free. Admitedly I also do a paper round but I book it off whenever I plan to go riding or I just meet other riders after I have done it (usually book it off as we take the train to places so we want to leave early). It's all a case of time management. Chris

Yeah I have been on here now for little over a month but I got validated due to having: 1. Good punctuation, m8 and yeah i lik wat u r thinkin will not get you anywhere closer. 2. Detail, the more information you put in the more likely you are to get validated. 3. Chit-chat is for MSN until you become validated then go to the Chit-chat section or leave it on MSN. 4. Language, I've been told sometimes to "watch my french" but the language I have seen on here will get you nothing but trouble. If you have nothing better to do then swear, really you should think about your life. 5. Finally be helpful, this sort of ties to: This isn't very helpful at all. Follow these guidelines and anything else that you have read on here that makes sense if you aeriously want to be validated here and now. Chris
