You know where we are
I've seen a bunch of motorbike prints on that slab, plus on some of the other top sections too. Kind of works in our favour as the little rut at the bottom of the run-in for that slab has been opened up by the wider tyres, so it makes it a bit less sketchy on the way in/out of it.

12 hours ago, Mark W said:They had a load of issues a few years back of chav pricks joyriding cars up there, and I think they had to clamp down on all motorised stuff up there just to make sure that they were still allowed access.
They've since made some council funding cuts, and so the service that maintains/provides access to Lee Quarry is being killed off. The process apparently started this April, and will end in 2018, but with the landslide they had on the access road to the quarry I'm guessing that's probably the beginning of the end. Not sure if it means they'll completely close it off or just leave it as-is and just not do any more work on it, but we'll see.
15 hours ago, Dman said:Are you sure that section is for motorbikes, I thought they weren't allowed on there, not that it would stop me, I thought your only really allowed on cowm round there. Only asking as I have a motorcycle trial. Do you ride moto's?
I think it was set out for the motos it is a big slab in real life plus there is lots of stuff that look like they have been moved about for the motos.
Them tyre marks are probably mine mark we was going there every week up until a month or so ago and you dont see many other motos up there most go to Cowm.
Really hope they don't close the place as the time and effort gone into some of the stuff is amazing.

Brilliant Ali at Lee mill some of the stuff is massive on a long comp bike im not sure how he was doing it on the inspired. The line at 3:09 180 is actually for motos as i ride up their quite abit... Very impressed
Edit i wrote this before flips section that boys on another level.

To be honest i can see why some people might run a front maggie but when the hopes are bedded properley i think the bite is on par with a well set up maggie plus you can modulate it riding off camber rocks etc which i do mostly... Plus its silent!
Saying that though mine still need to bed in as there not the best at the minute..

Does this mean we will start getting cheaper Deng frames from china....
-
I really like the rear end as it emphasises that it will be on the rear wheel a lot which it will...

Cheers think the only thing that needs changing is the chain as I've never heard of the x9 and I'm a heavy ish rider ..

That pilsner is disgusting though! Just come back from working in Czech but yes it is cheap...

Cool, song was dope too.

Cheers Josh will have a look at that place.
Went up lee mill today on them without issue apart from one old dog walker that said the motos are not allowed and there are signs around which we didnt see.
Can't see a problem taking them up there as the trials stuff is well out the way from the mountain bike trails and its a brilliant place.
-
Ahh cheers for that might hit cowm or lee mill instead..

What's the situation with taking the motos up there? And the like of Shipley too was thinking of taking moto and pedalo up to one of them this weekend ..

This is seriously good and all, but personally I would like to watch the insane flow and smoothness of the likes of Ali C, Aaron Browne, Ben Travis etc. over this fairly repetetive beast-moding.
The basis of trials is getting through the environment without dabbing, in which case this guy straight up wins. However I don't really mind who can sidehop the highest, it's all about being smooth. I've said it before, but I don't care if someone is going up a 6 inch or 6 foot wall as long as it is silky smooth, and nobody is beating the aforementioned in the smooth department.
Just my thoughts
Felix mucke could watch him on a kerb for half an hour..

Cheers i remember yours Luke what happened to it?
Looks good. I loved my old Box, though always felt it was an inch too long. Great bit of kit though, mega stiff rear end

So finally managed to get hold of this off a mate and looking forward to getting out again as ive been riding a lot of moto trials this year.
Anyway this was bought from tarty when the boxx was introduced and specced with all the lightest and best parts at the time i was there when it was bought and i think the build was about 3k...
Its been ridden a handful of times at most and i think the geo is perfect still and i personally think this was koxx at their peak and is the best frame to date they designed and made.
Not sure on the weight but i think adam put it on here at the time so i will do some digging..
Feels very light too as it still has the magnesium wheels tarty built and all ti bolts.
Couple of bad pictures.
