  3. If the lever is still slow after all the lubeing, test one thing... empty the master cylinder and remover the hose, dial back the tba to the start, then pull the lever and release, if it's still slow (ie: if the blade comes back and piston stays in cylinder) then more than likely you have ovaled the boar in cylinder and there's nothing you can do.. sorry :( i've seen this a few times and done it my self. It's from if you have fallen off and hit the lever body..

  4. I liked it when i was called an urban terrorist by old coot B)

I like the fact we can't be pigeon holed, because what we do is so random yet focused  like we use every surface and terrain and we borrow allot from bmx..

  5. I havnt done much to show off about...basically i havnt got the confidence at the moment i need to ride with some trials riders at first as iam solo at the moment apart from my downhill buddies but they dont make me any better at trials...any one got any tips for building up confidence?????

    cheers

Just start on small stuff and work your way up (Y)

concentrate on the basics like balanceing, kicking to back wheel and turning on the front and back wheels, all of which can be done using lines on the floor, then go from there.. :shifty:

  6. hmm wouldnt be a nosepick then. the thing where you endo 180 and pull the front wheel off spinning another 180 before landing. im not good with trick names :$ :-

    It's just a 360 spin off..

Not one thing but big moves in comps when it's wet.. like when they put a big gap or drop and you don't know if you'll grip :( then there's pressure!!!!

  7. Cracked and snaped

3 rockets fab pro trials- cracked at head tube and disc mounts (while testing) -2 in street 1 in comp

Pace trials- snaped seat stay at disc!! only took 3 weeks.. -on street

Gt tequesta- snaped chain stay at drop out -street

(The only 2, 13" in the contry) specilized m2 s-works- snaped chain stays at bb clean off!! -1 on street -1 in demo :$

Mates gt mod- cracked (not quite snaped) down tube at head tube, not my falt :- -street

Azonic ds1- snaped seat stay at brake lug.. -in comp

  8. Indeed. I paid £270 for some HS-22 Race Line Ds back in 1996. So, the real question is, how the hell can they sell them so cheap now? Rip off? Sheesh. You lot don't know you're born.

Same here, my racelineD's were £300 and then i had to by boosters!!! but the old kits did come with a standard evo fitting kits as well as qr's, black, grey, green frog and cool stop pads (set of 4 of each) and spare olives (i had 5 in mine)

There cheap now because every other rider uses them

Back when i got mine i only saw about 6 other pairs in 2 years...... can you do that now????

  9. "dan: you are a complete f**ktard, noone likes you and you have a small penis"

    hahaha

im glad you didnt put me, dan, wilcox, dave or ian on there, put all the good ones on?

    (N)

Be nice i tort you better than that.......... if we were on it might be better!! but everyone has to start somewhere..

It's a good start but keep going, and put sh#t loads of good riding pics on... if you need help? just ask B)

  10. As i've been a mechanic for 12 years and fitted, serviced, fitted and owned more maguras that you've had hot dinners, and i've had the pleasure of flushing all sorts of sh#t out of them from water to engine oil.

It's really simple, and i hate to repeat my self but :S maguras are designed to work on magura blood!!!!! it's not a gimmic to make money, it's not a con, it's fact!! it's what keeps them working sweet..

If you own a hope disc put water in that and see wat happens!!!!!

  11. Just wanted to see what stupid questions people have been asked when out riding? and what do you respond to them?

    examples:

Q "How do you do that thing where you bike goes goes up there"

    A "magic"

A "How do you sit down"

Q "Well i start by aiming my arse at a chair or good ledge"

Q "Does it hurt when you fall off"

A "No i'm a member of a special club were by when i fall off a magic fairy comes and catchs me or if there not there in time they nurse my wound and i feel alot better" or "not when i'm this high on pcp"

  12. It,s easy just say "trials is a sport where by you take ones bike and try to ride it over any obstacle that befall ones path, ie: be it a wall, rock, tree, bench or car" :D

If they still don't get it :S kill that person so they they don't have a chance to pollute the gene pool any more :-

ps: say that you have never heard of football.. that always gets a good response :S try and get them to explain that, and look all puzzled and say " that sound like a big waste of time, hope they don't charge to watch that"

  13. Alright Dave, you may not know this but one of the things the moderators pick up on is punctuation, and as this is the most punctuated and most correctly spelt forum on the planet I expect that they won't like the "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" etc.

But yeah, dave is an awesome guy and can advise you on anything you need, whether it is technique or parts.

Dave have you got msn? if so please add me A-kennard@hotmail.co.uk

Don't use msn i have e-mail : dab01@cwctv.net, next to that you have my number :D call me!!

  14. yo say that you have been riding for 9 years or something what level are u at and do u enter comops e.t.c

I've always rode expert at local trials and national but i quit doing comp 2 years ago as all the fun went :(

I almost went pro but never broke out because i wanted to have fun and had no start up backing to get to comps and win. but i did get lots of free sh#t from some small sponsors.

When i ride now i'm doing it for fun and to push my self, like trying manifesto and i spend time teaching people that want to learn, new moves and tricks, and helping people that need parts and bikes fixed to get or keep them riding.

I still do small demos when ever i can for fun.

I've entered about 40 comps and done over 70 demos so far.
