I use the halfords grips.........not any any problems with them even in the wet........after a few weeks though the ends do fray and tear slightly...but then u just change ends lol 4 quid for 4 sets of grips bargain....... dave x

Take it appart and soak it in wd40/gt85.....after a ride do the same again ....idealy with a tooth brush...make shure its spotless and lube it up with a finish line dry lube

All you really need is a braided xover bud..... recently made the move myself as when i tuck i sit on the x over ...... brake feel wise........its hell of a lot better than the standard plastic ones....people on hear going on about it dont feel as good are nutts or just have silly weak fingers lol dave x
