  1. No real need to apologize as such just don't do it again, the main thing to do is just do your best to help other people out in problems they may have and yeah like others have said keep your spelling on a decent level( i.e the spell checker ) Tom..
  2. Wel actually when i started a post on this topic no other people had posted
  3. No for sale topics on new members chat!.. Read the rules!!
  4. I agree, turd topic , but yes missions do ride appalling bad.
  5. Do they? i reckon i might have to give them a try Ive got the older zoo! pads and yeah they seem to work really well, have to say i don't think Ive tried the newer ones. But i can see where people are coming from when they say that zoo!s are knackered when they get dusty or dirty. Mine have like a gauge out of them because of dust but they still work really well. But i use tar as well so I'm cool. My advice is try to get some of the older zoo! pads if the newer ones are cr*p or get the rock greens as ive heard good things about them Cheers .. tom
  6. When i bought my front wheel i got it from select, it was the price of the hub and rim then you got a build and spokes for £10 extra Thought that was a good deal
  7. Just get some 3/4 " tube. Use a hammer and hit it at 12 6 and 9 ( O'Clock) and repeat this until it falls out Then turn the frame upside down and do the other side. You will notice the tube doesn't cover the whole inside of the cup, do it one edge at a time. And no the zhi's dont use threaded headsets. Good luck Edit-answer to rudoxolty: You can use a g-clamp and two pieces of aluminium/wood/steel or whatever, Put the two disired pieces of whatever you chose at both ends of the headtube and tighten it until you think its in far enough Hope i helped .. tom
  8. Ino thats what i was thinking..... If a moderator wants us to have a video section then we will have a video section.
  9. I have a mono trial and yes i do prefer the bb7 but i got my hope for £20 so I'm not complaining lol.. On new prices thought i would deffo have the bb7 as its much better on value for money, hydraulics can be a pain in the arse sometimes with air bubbles and such. But you don't get everything now.
  10. Reply to ANT-ONZA, erm well i built it myself over a few months, its worked out about 1050 in total really Everything was new i just wanted to build it up in parts lol
  11. Hi there everyone, this is my Echo team, been build up nearly a month or so now..love it lol... enjoy tom .
  12. Naa its probably just by bad luck , don't know if this has happened to anyone else though ?
  13. Are them crank brothers peddles any good? , the only thing ive heard about them is that the pins are slightly short but i can swap them for the ones on my old v8's.
  14. Have you tried riding round with your brake slightly on and then pouring cold water onto it?(not tap water as the chemicals put a sort of glaze coating onto the pads)so use bottled water like volvic or something . Then just do this a few times and it should be sharper, works everytime with me Hope it helps tom.
  15. erm yeh pretty much No honestly they wern't tight at all, it was starting to get tighter then all of a sudden it just went really easy and the thread inside was messed up. And im normally carefull about these sorts of things ( No offence taken )
  16. I use the 07 echo hub and rim ( 32h), its really strong and gives you a wider choice of hub. Last years echo rim was like cheese but their stronger this year. Go 32
  17. I bought some to fit my hope lever clamp, they are wank. It wasnt even tight on and it ripped the threads straight out and yes it did use grease on the threads. Don't mix aluminium with aluminium.. I had to re-tap mine to a size bigger and used steel cap screws
  18. Basically just keep saving
  19. Erm yes i would get a pro 2 but they have been known to skip but not badly. A mate of mine got one and one day he went out to ride and all it did was skip but they he went back to it the next day and it was fine , one of jesus' miracles i guess But yes a pro 2 or king recommended p.s make sure the pro 2 is trials specific
  20. Well i had one ages ago, turd freewheel( will need replacing if you get one or will need welding, alternative is just to buy a freewheel designed for front use. The reason the freewheels come loose is because the lock-ring has nothing to press against when is on the crank arm and generally is just threaded differently- as in threaded for rear wheel use so when you peddle you tighten it up, but this is not the case when used as a ffw. It loosens Really short! ewww. Hope i helped tom
  21. Well the spell checker does work but just like anything now days really you have to make the effort to download it! Edit: meaning download it!
  22. What Da Bomb bike do you have?, it may not be the chain it might be them Acs Freewheels they put on them. They always come loose, have you had previous problems with them before and how long have you had the bike?
