  1. Acs for the rear because won't the others come loose on the back?
  2. I have the 07 team and i think it rides really nice , but unfortunately i haven't been on a lite so i cant comment on them.. Th team looks stronger though
  3. Yes i do prefer maggys ( maguras) but a very well set-up v-brake such as a avid will work equally as well as a maggy. Try before you buy
  4. thank you thank you. reply to sam: yeah i was asking you for pic of your bike because i wanted to see it? and the topic wasn't necessarily about your bike it was about the other bits and sh**ts you put on it, and i asked for a picture.. Sort yourself out dude
  5. Yeh it probably wil look good but why not wait untill you have the pics
  6. Hi there and welcome to the forum My first bike was a mission prodigy and i learnt everything on it , top notch bikes for beginners really. Very strong also Good luck with trials Tom.. Anything you wanna know just ask.
  7. Im not 100% sure on all these tubeless tires but what if you fold your tire over on a sidehopp or gap, i know there is a sealant round the rim but won't it ripp it straight off?
  8. O, right then ok dude. I don't think i will bother getting one then , thanks anyways I think ive sorted my problem now lads, ive swapped a peddle with another rider and it seems ok now. The pedles were DMR v8s and were pretty much brand new so strange really.. Many thanks still though to people that posted
  9. I don't think its anything to do with my freewheel or the cranks really it must be the BB. Both sides are really tight and yes it is the echo BB sold on tarty at £45. I comes with the anti-creek substance found on the threads so i wouldn't of thought anything should be up with that . Anyways guys thanks for all your replies
  10. erm no thanks, there not coming loose much anymore, and the freewheel so only a week or so old now. cheers anyways tom.
  11. Hi there everybody, I'm just wondering if anyone of you out there know where you can purchase the try-all hope disk brakes. I am aware they are just a modded version of the mono trial but i think they look sweet. Any help appreciated Question no2: i have recently built up an echo team. I have echo forged cranks, tensile ffw, echo bash and the echo Isis BB. I have been out on a few rides and all i experienced was the crank bolt coming loose which to be honest is what i was expecting but now there is sort of a clunking noise (not a creaking noise) when I'm peddling along . Its weird because everything is tight and the general set-up has no play in it. A mate told me it could just be the bearings wearing in as the bikes only a week or so old. Any light shed on this problem would be very much appreciated. Thanks tom
  12. Meh, would have the parts just not the frame , ewww.
  13. True, my mate ran a zoo! with a adapter and a rear hope mono trial brake, i feel they are too powerfull and it sometimes slipped. Maggy or echo ***!
  14. I didn't bother putting grease on mine (echo forged), i put them on as i got them. They seem to be fine, they did come loose a couple of times on the first few rides but after that they stay tight. I screwed them right up to the backing flange and i think thats where they are supposed to be. Tom..
  15. Edit: im now using a hope . Works for me. Got it for £20, can't really complain.
  16. Wheelbase: 1000mm Chainstay Length: 362mm BB Rise: 50mm Head Angle: 72 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 605mm (23.75") Straight from tarty
  17. I do like hydrolic brakes but the Avid Bb7 really does stand out. Its powerful and is really easy to maintain and use. Bb7 ***!
  18. R.I.P to the people that died and how sorry i feel for the familys of those killed. Why does thw world have so many sick people
  19. I find riding with a 18 tooth front freewheel and a 12 tooth rear fixed ( or screw on) sprocket works wonders for me Try it out and se what you like best
  20. Well i would of thought the Onza t-rex would be a great bike to start of on. Are you talking about the one on ebay? Looks like a really good bike for the price I can't say i have ridden a onza t-rex but onza do offer a fairly good range of " budget" bikes that are very suitable for beginners. I would highly recommend them if your starting off but i would of thought as you progressed you may want to upgrade and get a higher specced bike. Good luck never the less , cheers tom
