Bike theives sould be hung up by their toenails, and have their knees shot off. Hope you find it!

I have had the same problem. What i was told to do by a doctor was file the top so its thinner and there is less pressure pushing to the sides. Also dont cut them or rip them. Go to a foot doctor if you can, they can do surgery if filing doesnt work. filing will take a little while to work, surgery wont let u ride for a while.

You can only put the thompson down to the bend in the post. As for the sram X0 rear derraileur... I use this bike as a trail bike. not much street at all. and the XO with the carbon cage, it accually bends out of place less and is just as strong. Or atleast thats what I have read in mags and stuff. I had it layin around anyway. The P.3 is designed more for dirt than street and is AWESOME. Great geometry, I set the rockshox pike at 120mm of travel and go. If I was riding street I would go with the 07 rockshox jumping fork, or kept the manipoo. If you are looking for a bombproof DJ/freeride/trail bike, Get the P.3. Its awesome.

Its a setback seatpost. I did not paint the 05 to look like that. Thats the original paint. I would have kept the 05 frame, but its in great condition so its more desireable to the buyer. I also like the stealthy look to the blue one.

This is my P.3 04 frame built up. (im selling my 05) And this is my 05 frame that Im gonna sell.

Yeah, if your chain has stretched so much that it will skip or fall off, you need a new one. also check that the chain is tensioned correctly while rotating the cranks. Sometimes the rings will be slightly off.
-
Has anyone tried just not using a chain tensioner? On vertical droputs. Whose accually had the right length? I practically had it working on my specialized epic SS. k bye >edit< heres an example.

Personally I am going with the Simtra ST-1 for my first trials specific bike. It doesnt have a super high BB (+20) and has a 1080 wheelbase. I am 6'5" (195.5cm) and 185 lbs (83.9 kg) I went with a 26 inch bike because of my height. I was also looking at the echo control www.echobike.com And the koxx levelboss www.koxx.fr They both have reasonable BB's As for onza, I havent looked into them too much.

With the levers, Whats the main difference between XT and XTR? Cause XTR is significantly more expensive. I already have the cranks. I already have the tires laying around. Yeah Pro 2 hub, good idea. Il probobly go with that. Kmc kool, il check it out. I have some X-9's around but the kool might be better. Yeah i probobly shouldnt throw an XTR rear derraileur on there. Probobly grab a 105. Thanks for the advice!

-Simtra ST-1 frame (ordered) -Avid BB mechanicals front and rear (until I get some hss3's) -XT levers -Simtra mcpudgy handlebars (ordered) -Truvativ holzfeller crankset -Specialized lo-pro mag II pedals -Alex DX32 rear rim -Dont know what rear hub, maybe hope. -Havent decided on a front wheel yet. (not too worried about it) -Specialized chunder s-works tires -Echo urban fork. -KMC X9 chain -Specialized enduro grips. -FSA orbit xtreme (had it around) -shimano xtr rear derraileur. (got one laying around) or maybe a sram XO if i can fix it. (found one in parts in a bag) -Probobly gonna throw a thompson stem on there, maybe titec. -Sram rocket shifter (for xtr) or sram X9 shifer maybe XO. depending on what i can use. Il post pics when it comes in. What do you think?
-
Yeah, the DMR trailblade II with the 20 mm through axle is your best bet for strength. I think the axle to crown is around 420mm.
-
Best thing to do to make your BB not creak is to tape the cup threads with teflon tape. Works quite well. I do it all the time.
-
Take the pads out and lightly sand them, be carefull not to touch the surface with your hands. Clean the rotor with brakeclean. Put the pads back in, make a few hard stops and it should be alright. You might just neednew pads like if yu got oil or grease on them.
-
I would strap it to my back with an empty backpack or something. Get it balanced and it should work alright.
-
Im looking for something stiff and not too tall. I want to keep the bb height around +20. Anyone riding a Simtra ST-1? I also want something more cost friendly. I am 185 LBS (~84 KG) 6'5" (~195 CM)

Koxx Protoype White Frame Full Build Bike
justfuzzit replied to Luke Williams!'s topic in Trials Chat
That is pretty Sweet looking. I would definiely want t ride that around. Looks like the BB is WAY up there though. -
Fat or not smooth. Maybe the rim had a defect, or just landed directly on the seam. Or landed on a corner.
-
Is the DX32 too narrow for magura hss3's on a simtra st-1? (again, yes i did the search)
-
I bought a specialized P.3 and diddnt know what trials was. I watched the collective and saw Ryan Leech. I decided that i wanted to do that type of riding.. It looked more fun than just dirt jumping. I lightened up my P.3 a little bit and have been doing trials riding on it. I am currently in the process of getting an ST-1 and all my parts.

Sorry about the confusion. What I meant was, why is the XTR lever better than the avid lever when using avid BB-7's?
-
Personally I use an air compressor and it works QUITE well. If your grips cover the end of the bars and have a hole in them, have someone cover one hole and put the air compessor to the other hole. Then pull. Be carefull not to blow them up. If i dont make sense send me a PM and I will draw a picture. Hope this helps!

Ok, Thanks.
