  1. Why use an XTR lever with the BB 7's? (Yes I did a search) And sorry about asking a stupid question that i should know anyway. Haha
  2. Haha, yeah. Just the other day i was hopping around on mine. Gets boring pretty fast though.
  3. Ive heard about alot of people breaking the ashton fork. I would say go with an echo urban like posted above.
  4. You could also try putting (I think its called mole skin) in your gloves so its smooth. Also dont peel the skin off, but jut poke a hole in it. Just enough to drain it. Hope that helps!
  5. Sandblast it? Interesting.. How would that work? Wouldnt it just take off the rest of the paint?
  6. The DMR through axle fork. I was thinking about trying it to see how much stiffer it is that a regular 9mm axle fork. Or maybe im just stupid. Haha.
  7. I am currently riding the pedals below. Specialized lo-pro mag II. They work quite well and the pins still grip well after quite a bit of riding. In the beginning a lot of grease came out and collected dirt, but i cleaned that up and didn't leak any more. The bearings in the previous model came loose pretty quick. These are a little loose, but ok. The main body is magnesium and it has removable/replaceable pins.
  8. Yeah that was a sweet review. Thanks. I am looking to get a Control. Or a Pure if i can find one.
  9. (it wouldnt let me edit, so im posting again) like this
  10. Accually it would if someone made it. Maybe even a sand paper like texture. Thanks for the negativity though.
  11. What i mean by pre "ground" is not ground at all. Just molded to have a rough surface.
  12. Well i know there is such thing as hardened alluminum. But that might be brittle. I am not posting this because I dont want to do the work, I am posting because I think that it might last longer and be better.
  13. Does anyone make pre "ground" rims? Or rims that are molded to be a good shape instead of smooth. (not sure how to say it) Wouldn't it be lighter to do that because then you wouldn't have to make as thick of sidewalls? They could also be treated somehow to hold the shape better (of the "grind") Does anyone do this? Has it been tried and just didn't work? Good or bad idea? Why?
  14. One finger. If I use two, I feel like i dont have a good grip on the bar. Sometimes I use two if i need more power.
  15. When you fall bad theres something to show, lets see it. Heres me when I gased my face.
  16. Yeah, zip ties and maybe part of a tube wrapped on the rails (to protect the frame). Just make sure it wont slide back into the tire.
  17. There are many different ways to get the holes coloured. Use little squares of tape with different coloures on different holes if you want. Then just put a rim strip in there to make it not blow out.
  18. Yeah i am definitley going to wear shin guards when i start riding more.(getting an st-1. was on a P.3) You should ride with them, but they might get in the way.
  19. Swagman. The one below is an older model, but the new one is Better and AWESOME. I have it and it takes like every bike.
  20. Ripped a spoke out of my rim. The stupid eyelet ripped out with it so its just a bent out hole in the rim and i need to get a new one.. I think it was a stick or something. Then my wrist snapped. Oh and my hemet too. I also gashed my face open, but that was a different time. Once i get a trials bike, Im sure i will have better snaps to tell about. Hopefully not.
  21. Well im in the US. I would get them from my LBS. www.specialized.com , you can find them there. The S-WORKS Chunder and Pin'it are lighter and i think less prone to pinch flats than the PRO Chunder and Pin'it. Yeah I just looked on the UK regeon and there werent any prices. They also dont have the pinit on the UK site. The prices in Dollars are: S-WORKS Pin'it $62.00 S-WORKS Chunder $62.00 PRO Pin'it $58.00 PRO Chunder $58.00 Sizes: Chunder - 2.3, 2.5 Pin'it - 2.5
  22. Yeah i think im going to go with the Specialized pin-it in the rear. Specialized downhill tires are designed to prevent pinchflats and work well, from what ive heard. And the S-WORKS chunder.
  23. What do you think of the Tioga factory tire?
  24. The specialized downhill tires are really good about not getting pinch flats. www.specialized.com
  25. Nope. You need to use a chain tool. Just buy one.
