Virus Problems

norton will get rid of it but its a stupid program that makes up threats and what not to make it look as if its doing its job.

Lol, and how would you know that? Its similar story to when I heard from friend that 'Norton downloads viruses onto your computer...' Of course it does, and then it gets rid of them to ensure its all working correctly...

I'd stick with Norton, £19.99 at PC World...but then again you'd probably end up walking out with a Packard Bell. Dont use the free stuff, AVG or whatever its called, I personally don't trust it.

If you download the google toolbar thing you get it free along with a load of other shit which can be deleted if necessary

Although he hasn't got a clue what he is saying, he is right. Norton pops up every f**king time to ask me whether I want to allow firefox access to the internet. Every time. And it asks 6 times.

It gets a bit annoying after about 3 days.

AVG is good, updates regularly, keeps the shit at bay and also doesn't use up too much of your system resources like Norton and McAfee do.
