ive found with vee brakes a heavy grind with a bit of tar on the rear brake is powerful and a light grind with a small bit of tar works realy well on a front brake. pad wise you want some planet x sticks for the rear and a set of clarks pads (9.99 at halfords :P) in tome i advise getting a magura for the rear brake as they are more powerful than a tektro.

hope it helped mate (Y)

Hi mate a booster would help if your frame is flexing when you pull the brake but. If it dosen't flex then there is no point. A grind would be better but it would where your brake pads down much quicker but tar is just as good if you put the right amount on. To much and your brake will lock up to little and your brake will slip.

I hope this helped jordan

My friend told me not to use tar because the brakes lock up and i don't really want that happenig. Is it only if you put to much tar on that the brakes lock up.

Thanks for the replies so far keep them coming, Cheers

Ben
