NVWOCI WVS Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 because of the way the wedge tightens everything up, knocking the top of the steerer will push it in further theoretically.It might be best to try giving it just a couple of tiny taps, then try and push the forks back up to loosen the wedge, then pull the wedge out and the forks are free of the headset Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
