bousfield19 Posted March 23, 2008 Report Share Posted March 23, 2008 hi everyone i have a 24seven holroyd and have been riding it for bout 6 months now im really getting on with it but i have just managed to colapse the drive side bearings in the bottom bracket its the fsa one it came with so im not supprised it has gone.can anyone recomend a fairly good one to replace it as i dont want to be replacing them every 6 months.my budget is about 40 quid tops so not really the best busget i knowi was thinking along the lines of maybe a skf onehttp://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2027ps its isis that i need and dont have enough room for external bearing ones as i run a front f/wheel wand need to keep the chain line as straight as possible Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gandalf the Yellow Posted March 23, 2008 Report Share Posted March 23, 2008 yer get an skf. only problem with them is that you can't run front free wheel with them cos their axle are just huge, so read freehub you should be fine.stiff, long lasting, probably best bb for the money.
