Hey,

I’m looking into buying a new front wheel and came across this on Trials-uk

http://www.trials-uk.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=2064

Just wondering if anyone has used this, if the build is strong and the strength of the rim etc

Help would be very helpful

Thanks very much

John,

There good, they need a little tightning up though.

Im using one at the moment, but i got a wheel builder to go over the spokes, do the same if you get one.

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the viz front hubs. As far as I am aware, there has been ONE rear hub shell break. The people I know that have used viz rims, have been annoyed at them flat spotting relatively easily, but again, this is only the rear rims.

That front wheel will be absolutely fine, looks nice too. Only thing you might want to do, as said, is go round putting an extra couple of turns on each spoke.

I highly rate V!Z rear rims, find them better (lighter/stronger/in general) than Echo 07 rims...

Some people seem to be able to trash them really quick though :S And I'm by no means a smooth rider...

Been running my front V!Z hub for what seems to be years now haha
