Helicoil Kits

had a quick flick through ebay this is thebest value kit i found. The kit contains 25 inserts which should last you a lifetime. The only thing missing is a tap driver but i'm sure this could be sourced cheaply and easily.

all you need to do is

1 drill the hole out with the drill bit supplied in the kit.

2 tap the hole ot with the tap provided

3 insert the helicoiled thread

4 snap off the top of the thread once the thread's completely in

5 smile because you've save lots of money and have fixed you're bike

Yep, helicoil kits are great! Just be careful to drill the stripped hole out nice and straight and don't wiggle the bit around as you drill. Don't wanna eat up too much material or set it in crooked. I've helicoiled a set of crank arms with great results. Good luck to you! :)
