Caleb Posted August 27, 2008 Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 Been having issues for about a week now where i simply cannot list an item.ive tried the ebay help and community boards, as well as yahoo answers but to no avail.(copied from ebay discussion)Basically i get this error code:"You cannot submit your listing due to the following problems* An error has occurred* Please enter a valid value.Go back and edit my listing"I kept trying making many alterations e.g:offering free postage,editing length of title,editing my account detailsaddresses etc,making sure i was accepting paypal etc.ive tried switching browsers,clearing cache and cookies,don't owe ebay any fees either.Still no luck and must have tried altering about 50 variables.I then tried to list a jacket (today) thus deleting my old bike for sale saved auction (but had copied all the html text into a word doc anyway) And again no luck.The closest ive come is by using the buy it now with offers option with immediate payment required on the bin.then i get to the screen and it just says "error occurred" but doesn't elaborate.Hopefully as some of you say it is a glitch but its been lasting for 4 days, i usually only list when 10p listing days etc are on but i need the money, and the way i see ti ebays poor customer service is losing them business from my good self and many other people ive seen on here and google with the same problem.many thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Could be something to do with that...Yeah the paypals fine, ive never had this problem before and have close to 600 feedbacks albeit most from buying.You paid all their fees?Yeah paid my invoice 2 weeks ago, as usually you cant even get past the first sell link without doing so.appreciate the replies, im hoping the problem may sort itself out over time.
