Polyurethane Brake Pad Material

I'm going for the eBay DIY pad option, I'm not making them to sell, just to have plenty for peace of mind.

I know people have done it before, and I remember reading about what grade you needed that you could get off eBay but I have forgotten and can't find it!

At present on eBay is 70A, 80A and 90A. I'm pretty sure it was one of these.

Any help?

Depends completely on what you want, what is in the material itself chemical-wise and where its coming from.

Some companies 90a's are completely different to other companies 90a's and pads themselves vary a lot. Plazzies are around 80-85a and a lot of others are around 90a. The yellow material i looked at was 90a yet was quite soft, it really is just a case of chance with picking the right one.
