hdmackay Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 I have Magura Royal Blood in mine and it's ok but my friends who have water bleeds, their brakes feel alot nicer and are quicker.Water with a wee bit of anti-freeze is good.An advantage with the fluid though is that you don't need to re-bleed it regularly because it doesn't absorb water.All down to preference and opinion really. People have been doing it for over 10 years and it doesn't do anything bad to your brake.You won't get validated faster just by posting loads, you need to put full sentences in. "rock pads" isn't a good reply, you didnt even say which ones.Just offering advice, not looking for trouble. Best of luck getting validated. It's not frozen yet, and I don't think it will.Before I rebled that brake I found it to be containing a combination of oil, water and what looked like rust. It still worked, lol.
