It's what tensioner you use that will give you a good or bad chain tension.And maybe be a little more specific on which particular FW you are talking about here. How are front freewheels any better than rear freewheels??There isn't really any difference, you can have a FW on the front or the back, unless your cranks don't have threads for a freewheel in which case it goes on a fixed rear hub.
