Bit of an update, after riding this for the past 3 months or so i can say for sure it is the best riding bike i have ever owned.

Its stupid how fast and by how much i have improved since i got it.

Anyway i went front mag after bout a week of riding it as i just cant put up with disks, a few other changes too, different bars, pads, removed frame stickers etc.

Sorry about the awful quality photos, taken on my phone, will get some better ones tomorrow

That is lovely.

But have to ask. How is the disk annoying you?

Not keen on them really, thought I'd put it on as they are generally more practical but I like Maguras because of the insane bite/hold you get, and that you get freely spinning wheels.

And the disk is rubbing and squeaking (which is mainly the bit that annoys me) at the moment so will need to get it set up properly.

But I'm definitely going to give the disk a try for a week or so, see what I think, maybe it will grow on me.

They take a wee but more time setting up but then you pretty much for get about it.

That is nice! Is that 18-14 ratio with no half link?

Yeah fits perfect, don't even need to use the tensioners much as the chain is pretty much tight at the start of the dropout.

face the disk mounts then take some time to shim it.

it'll get rid of the rubbing noise, let the wheel spin freely and have lovely lever feel.

looks nice

Steve

Sorted it now, working good just needed to tamper with the spacers.

How does the bike feel compared to what you used to ride? I am most interested in performance wise, does it limit you in any ways?

Well on my mod I was getting 6 pallets to rear but only at a push, after my first 20mins on this I was pissing it every time.

It really is perfect, not too big but not too small.
