Revolver Posted July 26, 2011 Report Share Posted July 26, 2011 I suppose you could do it without covering holes with your fingers, or with only covering one, but it makes more sense to cover them as instructed so the water goes in one direction, else you could get bubbles of air collecting in the lever that won't move because the water flow isn't forcing them to.
