Trial Tech Forks

Wondering if anyone runs an echo hub in trialtechs forks, I just bought a pair and struggling to get the hub axle to fit in properly. I can get the wheel to fit but the forks then don't sit properly on the axle it sits between the washers on the axle bolt and the axle it's self. Has anybody else had this problem? And if so how can I sort it, unless it's okay to run it on the gap ? Thanks :)

The Trialtech forks only have 9mm dropouts, your hub needs 10mm dropouts.

You can just get a file and open the dropouts a little bit. Trialtech, click Additional Information

... But the best way, IMO, is to make the axle smaller. This way you aren't mullering your £120 forks, only a £10 axle.

We can do it if you wish: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/workshop/tartybikes_front_hub_modification_10mm_to_9mm_axle/c34p11665.html

I never even thought of machining the axle to fit, could of got someone at work to do it too...
