Best Way To Get Pads Squared On Rim ?

Recommended Posts

oryt sorry,it a magura hs33 05 heatsink pads?

Easiest way is to set the brakes up with the pads touching the rim (so that you know they're straight) but nip them up enough so that you can JUST ABOUT move the cylinders out when you pull the lever. Then just pull the lever to wherever you want the pads to start biting and hold it there while you (or a mate) do the bolts up proper tight. Job done.

EDIT: Sometimes you might need just a tiny bit of tweaking by hand as well, but so little it's negligible. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to leave them the hell alone once you've set them up right - each time you set them up they effectively have to bed in again.
