Swoofty Posted October 12, 2023 Report Share Posted October 12, 2023 I've finally gotten the latest and greatest from Extralite, the HyperSmart 3. It's a whopping 68 grams. My oldest Hyper JF is still going strong and has only needed one bearing replacement after 2 years. I've moved away from the Hyperfront (radial non disc) because it's not as stiff as the Hyper JF. Hopefully I'll get the new one laced up tonight and I'll start abusing it soon. Sadly the Hyper JF is no longer available, but it's very similar to a Mack hub so I'll have to try one of those next; bonus - the Mack hubs come in lots of different colours too.
