I've had this in the past. It was due to my grind.

Are you running one?

Anyway, it happens when your grind isn't 'straight'. As in, the cuts dont go towards the hub as much as they could. I recommend regrinding and just making sure it's a nice grind.

If you don't have a grind, unlucky :D

I've had the same problem with my white heatsinks.

They grip ace going forwards, but the slightest slip backwards and they let go.

I dont think it has anything to do with the grind, but I think its more pad compound or something. The second I put my Plaz pads on, they worked ace straight off.

James, have you tried any other pads on the rim, to see if they grip any better?

Why is your name Rich in one post, then James in another? And you don't type like James, so you're actually someone called Rich, on James' account.

Ol' Sherlock would be laughing.

:P
