Fort William Comp Update

UCI Trial

Recommended Posts

Full details of the available classes are on the entry form, so if you are unsure of what is available, have a read through before downloading.

The comp does not start until 11.00. so entrants have time to have a look at the sections before the start. Having looked at the course, if you felt you had put yourself in the wrong class then you would be able to change, but only before you actually collect your card. The three routes intended for regular Trials riders will look easier than a BIU comp due to the application of UCI rules.

Please note that there is a closing date on the entry form, so get your entries in to avoid disappointment. The chance of actually being a competitor at a World Cup venue should not be missed, especially in Fort William, as the party atmosphere spills over into the town. If this event proves to be a success more of the same will follow.

I'm hopefully going, just waiting to book a camping site. I normally ride Blue(inter) in BIU but I could probably ride 75% of the red BIU stuff so I would assume Inter UCI would be best for me?

Me and mate planning on entering for a laugh, camping shall be funny too. If you go on Fort William then you can find the 3 nearest camping locations.

The free pass offer has is now open to all entrants, thanks to further negotiations with the main event organisers, BUT REMEMBER - there is a closing date.

Some have had trouble locating a camp site with vacancies, there are still places left just a few miles from the Trial site. Tel 01397 772376.

Helpers, please register.................

If you intend helping out as a trials official in Fort William please notify the organisers by mailing ucitrial@hotmail.co.uk no later than Friday.

We need time to allocate your event passes and fees.

And all observers get £30, do they? including the pass for the day, that's pretty good for a days helping out :-

Cheers for the update on the pass Mick.

Phil.

im quite excited never been to a DH event before apart from when i was in Auz the riding there was good but fort william has a reputation and i think it shall be a good event to be watching as well as competing in the trials event too.

i think are lass is going to help out :P :) if she denies or wont il make her.... an extra £30 for fuel will do...or it could just go in the kitty towards the BEER woowoo.

i think im going to get lucky and get onto the camp site where mick and fred re staying. i tried booking into the campsite but they wouldnt let me so il sneak in and pay me ££££ :D they said if there is a tent up and your going to stay in it not a problem. so im hoping someone is putting a tent up for me :)" (mick cough cough) cheers mate. i will bring that crate of stella for your efforts in putting it up for me :)
