Hey all,

Ive just recieved my new wheel and its got a fixed cog on the back but i need to take it off and put a freewheel on.

Ive tried with all my strength and might to get the booger off but it just wont budge. Oh by the way i have been using a chain whip to attempt to get it off

Does anyone have any advice or tips how to get it off without my popping some veins or something!!

Cheers

1) hacksaw to opposing sides, place in vice and twist away, like we did last summer

2) place chainwhip around the teeth, add large iron bar to it, and turn

3) eerrr local bike shop

Thats all i can think of. You could try the freezing and hot water method if you want, but not sure
