Iam currently in the process of building a new trials bike. I'am in a dilemma on what to get for it though.

Spec(So far):

Frame: Echo Pure (Got)

Forks: Echo Pure (Got)

Headset: Hope XC (Got)

Handlebar: Echo Tough Bar (Got)

Stem: Echo Control Stem (Got)

Cranks: Echo Cranks and Echo BashGuard (Got)

Brakes: Magura HS33 Front and Back

Chain: Kmc kool chain

Front Freewheel: ACS Claw 18t (Got)

Need sugestions for:

ChainTensioner: ? (Was thinking Surly singulator)

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

sounds really good so far.

For wheels through personal experience of profile king hope and more i would have to go for the hope front and rear hubs every single time. purly due to the simplicity and quality of the hub and the excellent quality of the service from Hope technologies. Build the hubs onto either Echo, Koxx, Dx32 or onza for the rear. For the front i would use again koxx echo onza or mavic.

For the single speed tensioner Fresh products would be ideal as they are very robust and easily adjustable. Also they can be taken off easily for when you need to remove your wheel.

hope this helps :P

well seings as you have got front freewheel why not get, viz hubs front and back, viz rims in the narrower version which i think they now do,

disc front maggy rear, sorted really

and use a mech instead of a tensioner (stupid things-only my opnion)
