I've been thinking of getting a beasty looking Superlite v2 203mm rotor off ebay and a +40mm adaptor as my brake's not been working brilliantly recently, I feel that it'll work I just wondered what some of your views on it are, and if its worth £25

Cheers guys, Nathan  :S

If your pads are comtaninated you do not buy a new set if they have meat left on them, all you do it bake them in the oven or boil them in water.Getting a larger rotor makes more power but if more prone to being hit.I have recently bought a 180mm a2z superlight rotor off ebay and a +20mm adaptor for my hope mono trials and god does it work! :)

Also you have to have a decent strong pair of forks otherwise it will rip the dick mount off them. I think that a 203mm rotor would rip the mounts off say the old urbans with the thinner disk mount than this years.

Hope this help's

hmm i always find old pads and new rotors work crap anyway, my advice is just to buy new pads when you het a new rotor, saves hassle and also the brake works better

ok my pads were new anyway when i got the new rotor. IF it still works crap with the new rotor buy some new pads or just clean them.
