Brake Freeze

hi i was riding lastnight and i went down to my ladyfriends house. and left my biek in the back garden. and when i come out to go home i went to pull the leaver and it wouldnt move. all the water inside froze up. i was just wondering. what should i do? shall i leave it a couple of days and it will go back to water or what?

i just use a hair dryer on my brake,,,, but what ever you do DONT put boiling hot water on you cables, it crackes and splittes em, but i suppose if u can be arsed it would be much better to just to bang a bit of anti freeze in wid the water................. fat jake :P

I have the same sort of problem with my magura brakes, they are bled with magura mineral oil, they feel sticky in the morning when i first pull them, does anyone else have this problem and what can i do about it.

BTW: i didn't want to start a similar topic
