eskimo Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) If your confident about rebuilding wheels then take it apart then just sand it down. Plus you could put some new spokes in while your at it (or whoever is building the wheel).You could just tape the spokes up then spray the rim whichever colour you like. Then just grind the rest of the colour off your side walls.If the rim was sprayed gold then it shouldn't be to hard to sand it off.Hope that helps.
