koxx browns and a sharp grind or snowys and a medium grind with tar .Any of thease combos are absoluctly mint i Would recomend them to anyone.

rick :)

snowys are great pads imho ( i have used them and tohught they were awful pads), and what is the point is grinding your rim then using tar aswell? kinda defeats the point in grinding your rim, you might aswell not have ground it,

if you can afford new pads then put a light-medium grind on your rim and use the kool stops i did for a while and they were alright.

Hi, i don't see why everyone sees kool stops as being so 'bad'.

I use them on a non-ground rim with a bit of tar and they work fabulously.

Even when i didn't use tar they worked really well, but i suppose if you don't get along with them then its up to you.

thanks, jack
