Frame Flexxx

Recommended Posts

ok so i have a t-comp and ive just set up my hs33 it runs like a beast!

but it runs abit too like a beast and it flexxes the frame quite alot,

so after a certen amout of lever pullage the frame starts to run away from the rim.

i am not running a booster atm but i am going to get one, will this help?

i was thinking of getting tensile booster -- i heard there one of the stiffest.

can you recomend a booster for the job ,about £25?

Cheers Leo

All you need is a big beast of a booster as this will take the brake power rather than the frame. it should also make ur brake work a bit better and make it more reactive. just remember not to go cheap and get a magura one as they dont stop the frame flexing because i got them with mine and they are seriously pants. hope ive helped

With the brake pulled hard the rim won't move anywhere so most of the force will be transferred to the mounting bolts causing the frame to flex, the booster holds the two brake cylinders together so the force goes onto the rim giving you high braking power. So any booster will help!
