Snapped Bolt In My Magura Lever

its the one holding it onto my handle bars not the lever screw, so i have the extra piece of metal in the way where the bolt head would fit.

sorry about quality but here it is the bolt is under the top peice of metal

I had this happen with one of mine.... it comes from overtightening the bolts. Basically you have half the bolt stuck in the thread of the lever. If your extreemly lucky and talented with a drill you could drill it out with a tiny drill bit to make a hole in the snapped bolt then thread it to unthread it out, but to be honest I just replaced the lever.

Get some nice steel bolts that dont sheer and try not to overtighten them! If you can't move your lever easily by hand, it's tight enough. Then if you do have a bail hopefully your lever will move round on the bars if it's hit, and not snap.
