wayneone Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 Hello everyone reading this thread.My bottom brackt is on its last legs and ill soon be in need of a replacement, but which one do you lot recomend?What im after is somthing not too expensive below 50 pounds if possible but at the same time not somthing thats gonna break in 10 mins or somthing thats far too heavy.The bike im riding is a onza t-rex with tensile cranks(the ones with the normal bash) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I recently bought my second one & not because the first died but because I bought a new frame & needed a 128mm spindle. Highly recommended! Posted May 1, 2007 Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 Yeah, I'll reccomend the Truvativ BB aswell, I've had it on my XC/freeride bike for a little while, seems smooth, sturdy, it could be lighter but when you're talking about +/-50g it really doesn't make much difference.P.S: Cheaper and lighter than the SKF BB.
