jandamna Posted May 1, 2007 Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) Hi guys, basically ive been mod'ing for the last week or so, at the moment im riding a saracen mad 2.zero frame and the only upgrades i have arebikehut barsgusset barstard gripsmaguru back brake(fitting tonight) Middleburn RS7 Pro Trialsonza BBfront b hut vee-breakand all the rest stuff is just normal, and i was just wondering should i wait tillthe stuff breaks or should i upgrade the stuff (the normal stuff) as soon as i can??anyhelp apprecieted thanks/jan Edited May 1, 2007 by jandamna Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted May 2, 2007 Report Share Posted May 2, 2007 if you get on with the frame then there isnt much point in changing it. i think you should upgrade bits that you think need doing, not just for the sake of it, like if your brake is slipping get new pads etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
max-t Posted May 2, 2007 Report Share Posted May 2, 2007 Wait for a bit. There are some people (very few) that start trials then quit because it isn't for them. You could decide you dont want to do trials a few weeks down the line. Keep the bike how it is now and just replace the parts when they break. Someone new to trials doesn't need all of the top of the range parts they just need to get the basics sorted and then when you feel more advanced maybe invest in some upgrades when you know your certain you want to carry on riding.However, i would advise you do get some brake pads for the back brake. Im sure you'll probably have the standard magura black pads on the rear brake you have, which are not up to the standards of other pads.www.trials-uk.co.uk <<<< look in the brake pad section, viz yellows or somethig would be a good choice.
