Only bleed Echos with oil. I´ve tried water and it just won´t work as good as with Magura. Maybe some people may suceed with water, but if you want to be on the safe side, use oil with Echo.

the Echo front rim 40mm which I linked is double walled and seems to be alright using at rear. japslap: If I understand you correct, width on tyre is also important to consider in this case? Do you think the Echo Front rim 40mm + Big Betty 2.4 will do fine? Thanks

japslap and Matt, thank you guys! Im not sure what lugs are. Im planning to buy a Zebdi, but I don´t know the width, yet. However, My 47mm rim is in bad shape. It just crossed my mind that I have to replace it anyway! Maybe a 40mm front rim will be good for rearwheel? Tarty I think this is the old style Magura Evolution Adaptor. Will this be good?

I have Echo cnc rim brakes.

Is it possible to run a 47mm rim on a Planet X Zebdi Mk4? Or is it too wide? /Rusty

I´ve been reading about this guy in a similar thread at observedtrials... Seems like many guys (not all) are happy with their deals. At the same time, some are receiving scruffed components, a result from inferior packaging. (But hey, all the way from China, I guess you must deal with the fact that you won´t be shipped a frame in a perfect condition...) Well however! I saw the Echo Pure 05 at Biketrialseller. Do you think this is the real Echo or just a "bad" copy? I don´t understand how they can sell this old, rare frame today 2009? Are they still making them maybe? Is there somebody here that have been riding the Echo Pure 05? After reading so much positive about the Echo Pure 04, what is the difference between them?
