Yea, over the years I have ridden pretty much every discaplin of bike minus road and cross coutry. Currently im on bmx which I enjoy taking photos of aswell. I have a fairly decent knowledge of the industry, previously I wanted to be a journalist writing for mbuk or somthing but recently I have lost interest in the writing side abit more, and I dont think I have the literacy skills necesary, I dont really have the skills with a camera either although Im happy to learn that as I enjoy it. But to be honest, I dont really have qualifications, so my main way in would be through contacts etc. but living in the middle of no where and currently having none of the skills its abit of an issue...

Go into college now, sure you dont get the 24grand (ZOMFG SO MUCH MONEYSSS!!1!!1!1) over the two year but you go to college for two years, then go into better employment and get like maybe 48 grand over the 2 years after you left... at SOME point you will do college so you WILL have those two years of shitty part time employed college work time... DO IT WHILE ITS FREE YOU TIT!! It will be free education and theoretically you will get a better paying job at the end..... The glen=up on money thing is totally wrong, in the long run glen=down on money... Also, on mark and maxs conversation, skating and things would interest me I recon I skated when I was like 13 for a year or so.. and it might be a good direction to go in as it doesnt involve bikes meaning its alot less likley my hobby would become my job and loose its initial apeal. Again its just the issue of getting in, I have currently got very few skills that would be of much use! and have NO idea how I could get into the biz..

If you have a gas cooker, get one of the rings going, hold the race with some pliers or somthing in the flame for a while, then once its heated up just drop it on, if you heated it for long enough it should have expanded enough to slide allll the way down.

Cheers man, yea I like my camera alot but dont really have the skills to pay the bills... I currently work saturdays in a bikeshop as a salesman/mechanic its ok but I would like to do somthing with abit more dorrrah involved and maybe give back to the scene? I quite like the design idea and promotion side all I have is a GCSE in art on that side of things. Mark what do you actually do, work at pijin? Not to steal the thread or anything, but I have a couple of questions related to marks last post, Im looking for some kind of direction to take in life and currently all my ideas seem to involve bikes, I am fully aware that this may be the death of my passion for riding bikes but currently I have little other that I can think of. My questions being: What jobs are there in the industry? I dont want to be welding them together and Im obviously not good enough to get paid to ride, so Im wondering what else there is? product design I would guess is the main one, I dont know if anyone here has any experience but I would be interested to know. cheers. Yea seriously glenneth, Iv spoken to you on msn about it but why spend moeny on college later when you can do it now? It makes NO sense atall. and 12k a year is not alot for a full time job.... atall. and its a bike shop, I work in a bike shop now (I know you do aswell) but working there HAS effected my motivation to ride, just being around bikes all day fixing punctures, building up the same bikes over n over again... I cannot be bothered to then come home and ride my bike... The only perk is trade price, get your bmx, then quit lol and ride LDN and stuff with me. edit: also listen to mark? hes speaking from experience obviously if he prefered scrubbing dried shit off bogs then surley its not gunna be great...

I posted before about casual girl. It all started at a party, got drunk got with her etc. she started to like me alot, I wasnt that into her but saw it as abit of action so went with it. Anyway after a while, I started to like her alot. So yea I really like her, then there was all this shit about her wanting to slag it up etc. And theoretically that should have put me off, it didnt. I really like her but shes not into me atall anymore, its basically over. She was asking me if there was any point in us n shit on msn then signed out. Right, Im "seeing" this girl, slept with her n stuff and she said she didnt want us to get with other people. Now shes met another guy, he keeps texting her inviting her to partys n stuff. since she met him (at a party before, she danced with him n shit, I ended up off my face after this.) Thing is like I always thought Id love a relationship like this, casual sex effectivly. Thing is, I really am getting pissed off, she says she likes me but then wants to get with this other guy.
