  7. I have a random hayes hfx9 lying around. It has an 8 inch rotor and therefor has a large adaptor type thing. My problem being that my adaptor thing fouls the disk really badly. Any help on what to do please?? appreciated tom
  8. i wouldnt say it sounds expensive as all the lenses i have looked at cost alot. Im not sure about fish eye though. I would go for that one it seems good to me.
  9. i notice on tarty there are two different sizes of kmc kool chain. One is the bmx version and the other is the 8 speed. I know that bmx sprockets and chains are a different size to the mountain bike ones. As I am running a single speed set up with a 22 tooth mountain bike sprocket up front and a single cassette ring on the rear (17 tooth) what chain should i get. cheers all help appreciated
  10. i also comleted it in 10 its not much of a challange compared to bike mania 2. Also I am deffinatley not a fan of the muntain bike game.
  11. yea dude the pic isnt working on my computer either could you repost please?
  12. hey buddy. It wont be long before you can "bounce on the back wheel" (backhop, shifty, crank hop, pedal kick.) there are loads of different names for that. Good to see you are really dedicated to the sport . As others have said it really is just practise practise practise. If you are finding your grips painful there are a few things you can do. you could wear gloves. you could just put up with it and allow huge calluses to appear on your hands. or you could get some foam grips (or roadie tape) I'm not to sure about the tape (electrical or gaffer) idea as I imagine it would get really slippy when wet (with sweat or rain) anyway just go have fun on your bike.
  13. cheers for help. Is the hope mono the same as the XC just without a disk mount?
  14. just wondering wether anyone has any views on this hub. Does it have good engagement etc. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=1793 all help appreciated. edit: if this is no good can anyone rcomend a similar hub that is as good. cheers
  15. I ride an old DMR rhythm with 06 dirt jumper3s its easier to ride places than my base.
  16. THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE OFFER SO NO OFFERS PLEASE. could anyone tell me what they think I could get for a base ta26 quick spec: base ta26 frame mission forks echo bars halo tornados (rears buckled) carbon stem truvative hussefelts bt bottom bracket (brand new) pair of 04 maguras (also new) it does need some new tires. cheers
  17. If I were you I would buy the full bike as it comes with a good spec (most probrably better than the custom one) They are nice to ride and a bargain at 420
  18. cumon evryone we are taking up this guys thread, he is just trying to help us out. I think if you dont have anything nice to say you should just get off this topic. I also think the rims look like they were done in paint. p.s Nice bike edit: that looks soo much better than the previous paint one. Well done mate
  19. I guess you are talking about the justice. well the only snapped one I have seen is this: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=79318 but if you look he brought another one so I imagine they must be great
  20. hey buddy welcome to the forum. nice bike you got there.......... Well have fun.
  21. that sounds a good idea to me. My friend had a da bomb, he rode it for a few years but he has just brought a t-pro frame and fork and put his da bomb bits on. The only thing is, I think the Da Bombs run a 14mm rear axle whereas pretty much all current frames, run a 10mm axil . If you are willing to spend a bit of money when you get a new frame then go for the Da Bomb, If not try for a t-bird or even better a t-pro.
  22. ah yea i dent think of that :$, well if i am running a 26 inch fork then my bb will be at the same height in comparison to the axels but will be an inch lower overall, dont really know weather to do it but i will need an adaptor . cheers for all help, much apreciated.
  23. I am guessing that you have an old hanger, so just put it next to the picture on tarty and find out which is the same shape, if this doesnt work then ring tarty and ask.
  24. its just that i have a pair of old 24s from an old jump bike lying around and just wondered obout giving it a go.
