  1. Hello welcome to Trials , and the forum. The first thing you need to decide is wether you want to ride mod or stock? (mod 20 inch wheels, stock 26 inch wheels). If you want a mod then I would recomend an Onza t-pro But if you want a stock I would recomend an Onza t-rex Both are good starter bikes in each size. tom
  2. Echo *** . I have heard that the ride the nicest. If I were you though I would try and go to a large ride and try out the bikes, as the geometry you like is a personal thing. But in my opinon the echo looks the best. tom
  3. God this is hard to work out as evryone seems to have a different view. I would normally try a bike with both before I buy something, but no one around here rides with either stem (they all use t-master stems) so Im a bit stuck. tom
  4. How can an inanimate object be gay?
  5. Always happy too help . I was happy, but then i switched to mod so it doesnt really affect me any more. Personally though I think that its a good idea. tom
  6. Yep that is true, 1 will have horizontal dropouts and take a mod hub and have no rear mech hanger, meaning its a pure single speed frame, called a 26 inch mod . There will also be a model with vertical dropouts for those who still want to run gears. tom
  7. No last years had the CNC'd head tube. This looks nice tempting to drop my dreams of the adamant A3 or Ko Km1 and decide on getting one but....Its just not quite as nice as the adamant me thinks (from what Iv seen in the CAD drawings) But its hard to tell, think I will wait until they have them in at tarty then decide. tom
  8. The monty stem is 12 quid (pound sign button doesnt work ) But I think I will get the echo as Im not sure weather the monty stem will make the front of my bike too low. tom

    Hello

Now, now lads lets not get into an argument remember the rules. tom Edit: If you have to do an intro post then you could add a bit more to it, as you did say you wanted to get to no people better, well we no nothing about you. You could just add a bit more like where you ride, how long you have been riding and what you ride tom
  10. If you want to run a front sprocket but you would need to buy a new rear hub (freehub). This would be way more expensive, just buy a try all free wheel there good and have amazing engament tom
  11. I have heard from a few people that the Long has strage geometry and feels a bit strange to ride. But I have heard from one person that the long is fine, if I was buying one I personally would go for a short, simply because I have heard they ride nicer. However if you hear good things about the long from people who ride them then go for it and get one if you think it will suit you. tom.
  12. I am building up a T-pro, and was just wondering if anyone had any opinions, on etheir the Monty 221pr stem, or a Echo team (or any other mod stem) ? could you please include How the stem makes the bike feel/ride?Which bar you feel suits it best (riser or flat)How it compares to any other stem you have used? And would you recomend it?I am currently running a flat bar but will happily change to a riser if necesary. cheers tom
  13. Sorted the t-pro stem is 28.6mm clamp and the echo bars are 31.8. sorry mate but they are not going to fit. tom
  14. add me on msn, as this is turning into a conversotion tom (addys in my sig)
  15. Are you sure the bolts that clamp the stem are fully undone? tom
  16. Are you absolutly sure that the stem is oversized. What stem is it? tom
  17. I would agree. Alothough the fact that the thread hasnt been closed means maybe the mods dont agree tom
  18. I wouldnt. There old and dont have modern style geometry, It will be fine if you are going to be doing seriously streety riding. Im pretty sure they cant take drilled rims, and you will have to hunt around for a second hand one. If I were you I would go for a slightly more modern frame, with more modern geometry. tom
  19. The 07 model looks damn nice, and as far as I can see there seems to have been a fair bit of thought put into the design. The built in booster seems a good idea, and the geometry sound nice. good luck with it, hope you like it. tom

    Hello

ok then errm... welcome and hope to help. have to say I am getting bored of introduction threads tom
  21. I saw thes in mbuk a while back. Wen I get a kid (in a long time me thinks) I think that I may have to purchase one of them and watch tom jr. fly round the garden on one of them tom.
  22. Firstly you spelt sexuality wrong in your signature. Secondly you posted this twice Thirdly this has alredy been posted in trials chat. (Im not sure if that is allowed, but I have a feeling its not) But I do think that 'Mod stock' is a good idea as when I used to ride stock , I had endless problems with getting my chain tensioner to keep the tension. Also there are no longer any mech hangers to bend. Although I cant really see the point in running a mod hub on the stock, other than Deng trying to sell more of his hubs. tom
  23. T-pro kid you have spelt sexuality wrong in your sig. Its blatantly a pointless object that was thought up by a rider with to much time on there hands tom
  24. It was an alright video. I would say that you should start trying to back wheel walls now, just try and get a bit of variety into your riding. Also try and keep the czmera still, editing was alrite for wmm. keep it up tom edit: yea
