  1. It's not tooo bigger job. If its just the standard magura hosing then yes you can use the fittings but from personal experience they are a right bitch to push into the new hosing. You can get replacement hosing from Cleanbikes (The hosing is listed under "Brake Spares") for £2.50 a metre or get the red braided hose which i MUCH stronger for only £5.00 a metre. All you have to do is puch the magura pipe nipples into each end of the hose, screw to the callipers and re-bleed. Job done
  2. Try running an old inner tube inside the tyre along with the normal one.
  3. Definitely go for the Tensile!! i have ridden both my 60-click tensile and my mates 108 click try-all and there is no noticeable difference whilst riding. The Tensile supplies a perfect amount of engagement at a brilliant price. Also due to the tensile having a BB tool fitting and therefore being slimmer i have managed to run one with an Echo External BB, which is said to be impossible on the echo website. Tensile all the way!!
  4. Oh my god people please say water I've just fitted goodridges and bled them with water and anti-freeze, If you say they rust or something i just might have to die
  5. OK I've managed to to get my parents to get me a new frame for crimbo and i looooooove the ko bike km1 in black. Just wondering if the ride as god as they look. Here's a link for anyone who doesnt no what I'm on about <<<<<<clicky!!
  6. Heres my t-pro no comments on the colour of the forks please. Echo lites coming soon!!! (Before the gold echo bars)
  7. Yer i split a UNEX braided hose crossover bailing on a sidehop i couldn't f**king belive it i've only had it a week. Since then i have temporaraly replaced the crossover with that red braided hose from cleanbikes, no problems so far. I'm just having some goodridge hoses made up at the moment and i'll let you know how they perform when i get them fitted. Joey B
  8. Yer i live in abingdon (near oxford). I'm well up for a big ride give me a bell when it on my email is joe_bayliss2000@hotmail.com . Sam wheeler (if that is you) would you be able to get nick and everyone else out aswell???
  9. I agree with huck_it i wouldn't want trials to progress into a too big a sport because of the great way that all trialers get along and will gladly help each other out. I do Motorbike trials as well and that has the same type of atmosphere where people ride for fun and generally have a good time.
  10. I don't think he has a choice as i can't see and other mounts for a different type of brake. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
  11. ok thanks will do it now and tell you what its like wen its fully bled.
  12. ok, I'm just about to bleed my maguras because i've bought the UNEX braided hosing for them, and i've got some de ionised water and some anti-freeze. Just wondering how much anti-freeze should i add to the water! Also anyone got any tips on bleeding them apart from what the Maggie Manual says. Thanks
  13. yer i just put a front tensile on my bike yesterday and it kept taking chunk out of the trackies i was wearing. And then on the way home (it was pitch black down an alleyway) it ripped them up 2 the knee and i had to throw them away . Any way moral of the story wear shorts!!!
  14. can u visibly tell the difference between an 18t heavy/light duty freewheel??
  15. nope you can get them in 16t and 17t. Here they are on eBay: 16 Tooth 17 Tooth
  16. Yer Mr-Tensile (Max) I am going to change to front freewheel and i have had my eye on the Tensile freewheel so it would be nice if someone could point me in the direction of a review, but of course if its british then I would be suprised to see a bad product . No max after riding your T-Mag, on tuesday with the 18-12 gearing on it, i am going to copy that so i can start putting more power into my gaps.
  17. I have an Onza Hog rim and needed a freehub that comes 32h and the Deng hubs are the only ones i can find.
  18. Thanks for the replies guys. Wow wad would u seriously consider replacing a King!!! It seems that they are very nice hubs but I will wait a while to see how they wear.
  19. Tom just shut up about your the Mans/Kids bike thing because nobody gives a toss. If you think you'll be able to adapt to riding a stock and it will improve your riding but like python_man said you have an awesome bike at the moment and there's not much that can compete with that in my opinion.
  20. I'm in desperate need of a new freewheel for my 20" onza hog rim but I'm not sure which thread they have. Is it the small or normal size thread?? please help as quick as you can because i need to buy and fit it by Monday.
  21. I want to put a freehub on my bike and would love a profile mini cassette hub, BUT they don't come 32h and that would mean i'd have to buy a 36h rim and new spokes as well. I looked on tarty bikes and found the echo freehub and saw it comes 32h. Firstly performance wise how well do they do and secondly do the make the sweet sounds a Profile or Chris King make.
  22. very nice! Is that a Profile mini BMX hub on the back. I'm looking to get 1 for myself but my onza HOG rim can't take it (Only 32h rim.) Sooooo what rim is that you've got on the back. Thanks
  23. I have done exactly the same to my T-Pro. Heli-coiled them 1 size up and the threads are fine. The only;y problem with this is the bolts didn't fit through the mounts so i used a round file and a bit of elbow grease and filed the 4-Bolt mount holes so that they fit the bolts.
  24. I highly recommend Nick Goddards "get1" i have this DVD and firstly i am amazed at the quality of the videos and of the riding in them. Also i have learnt so much from this DVD by watching techniques for all kinds of moves and applying them to my riding. Top class DVD available from here.
