  1. yea ok i spose, but the forums i have seen it on do work well, but not for validating.. this is the first forum i have been on, and had to get validated by admins... but i guess it works
  2. well everyone basically said what i said in different words.. unless they stated what tensoner to get..
  3. no i think cable ties are a mans BEST friend.. they rock
  4. if you really want to.. dont hesitate mate! well at least we will know what happened to you if you become inactive soon lol
  5. hmm well i have always used blue.. works fine.. there might be a better colour but i didnt realise they made a difference.. so i would just say blue lol
  6. lol yes Loctite will be fine then glad to help.
  7. Well i have been 'playing' with IPB boards for a while... and i want to suggest that maybe a thank you mod would be a very good way of being able to validate people.. for example if I was thanked 5 times, i should be considered to be a validated member.. for those who dont know.. this modification would put a button saying 'thank this member' or something like that.. and so if the member does help you... you simply click it, and they get award it.. simple huh You could do the same with a reputation mod as well, where you rep people if they help.. im sure there is a thanks mod but there deffinately is a rep mod.. just a little suggestion.. keep up the good work so far on the site people! i love it! :$
  8. hey i had this problem.. try extracting the crank and clean it all up, make sure it isnt too warn.. then grease the bottom bracket up ( for maintenance as you dont wana keep taking the crank on and off ) then put some Loctite around the bolt and tighten it up as much as you can... that solved my problem.. otherwise it might be the bottom bracket is too warn and it will make the arms become loose no matter what.. hope i helped
  9. hey some wicked riding there mate! looks like you got a cool place to ride to.. good luck with you new frame, looks pretty smart! thanks for the entertainment
  10. sorry i missread but yea whitespirit is fine to use especially on discs.. and water to rub off as most people are saying.. hope we helped
  11. either way mate.. depending on what the bike is and what tensoiner you use... some tensioners seem to make even more noise, so i would go with taking links out, if thats what it needs.. look at the daralier ( cant spell ) and see how far you can tension the spring, and see how slack it is.. if the daralier can be pushed forward real easy them you should take some links out.
  12. yea never use shitty coke on your rims, but as you were mislead mate i would say take the wheels off then rub some white spirit around the rims. it will not go burning your rims up or take the paint off... just dont really rub it hard into any stickers if you want to keep them lol
  13. looks like the seats that you can put on the Aston Justice frames.. i like them
  14. ok girls and guys thanks there is alot of mixed views on the bike then, but most of them are bad.. i have an onza t rex (very short ) and a mission reefer atm, but im going to move onto something else like a zoo pitbull or maybe an Adamant A1! i love Adamants i want one soo bad! thanks alot people i just wanted a insite on the bike as i didnt really get much time on it.. thanks
  15. he just showed us he had a domain and hosting already. so he isnt exactly going to go back to freewebs lol
  16. yummy, looks soo much better! have you saned n filled it? or just plugged it up lol
  17. I do quite a bit of web design, and well whats the site about frst.. does it have a forum.. whats your old style.. normally i would say a clean effect, with some nice reflections... but by the looks of the splash page, you like grunge... so yea scribbles and no patterns would work well
  18. Im a big fan of tartybikes, they have alot of good replacements on there, and the stocks are cool too
  19. I made a few of these when i was working at my local bike shop... there very light and a smooth ride from what i felt... but what are your comments on them? the only thing that put me off them was the name DiamondBack lol.. there is one on ebay atm here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DB-Diamond-Back-T-10...1QQcmdZViewItem we was selling them for £444.. so you would be lucky to get that under £200 so what do you guls n girls think? go or no go?
  20. ditto ^ maybe if you have some friends with some, try them out quick. or even go to your nearest bike shop, and see if you can have a little stand on them...whatever you feel compfortable with really..
  21. as trials_pimp said, learn those basics and just get to grips with your bike..as you become more confident, move out and find some walls and benches, or even just some lips you could try and pull some air off, just so you can really ge tto grips with the bike... when you feel you have alot of control and know the limits, try doing some simpe things from place to place.. watch some vids of other riders and pick up some tips from their skills...from there be different and tr and make your own moves.. but the key thing is to make sure you know your bike, so you can get the full from it
  22. well i like the 24/7 you have now, but i think it would be better for a cruiser or maybe a jumps bike.. a zoo frame would suit you if you really would like to get back into the trials world, as they are strong, sexy and light... it would deffinately help you in the long rn if you wana use it for trials..as i can see the frame you have now, doenst look to stirdy for trials..but its your choice..if you have the time and money a pitbull is the way to go
  23. lmao last time i saw someone fall like that was because his 'Universal' snapped the forks and he broke his jaw and about 5 teeth glad your mates ok then
  24. well from where i live the only crowds that follow my bike are pikeys/chavs that want to take it straight off you.. so i dont tend to stay in one place at a time lol!
