Hi, I'm considering changing to front disk on my bike. The only problem is that there are no disk mounts on any Pashley forks. The forks i have had 4 Magura mounts for a 24" put on. And this got me wondering, is it possible to have a disk mount put onto the forks. I like the way the front end of the bike sits and don't particularly want to change. So is this possible? Thanks. Yeah that sounds alright to me. Willsey's just trying to create a thread that helps all the newer members out so that nobody gives them a hard time (which seems to happen quite a lot). Just help him out by posting stuff that you think shouldn't have it's own thread, stuff that you thought might have helped you when you joined.

Yeah by doing this you can put in links to what other people have posted up before and save the hastle of having 300 posts about the same things, agreed the random small questions is good but new members would rather put up a new topic rather than search the whole forum.

Good idea Willsey. Theres far to many posts on here about the same stuff day in day out. Stuff like bleeding magura, what pads should i get, ginding my rims, what frame should i get. Just random stuff like that, which there seems to be a post about every other day.

The one that Danny posted you can get from www.tartybikes.co.uk The one i put up you can get that from www.parktool.com I'd suggest going for the one from Tarty as it is probably cheaper and it wouldn't take long to get to you. Why dont you try your local bike shop first instead of buying one, they should have the tool in shop and it would only take them a couple of minutes to sort it out for you.

Park also do one but knowing them it probably costs a bomb.

After the experience i had with them i aint ever going to use them again. Send it via a courier, it might cost a little bit more but at least it might get to the other person on time.

Parcel Force are the biggest W*****s in the world. Ive just bought ghost-cloaks Leeson 609 off him on Wednesday night and we got the postage sorted as-well. I told him to get it delivered Next day 12am by Parcel Force so that i could ride tonight. It was picked up on Thursday lunch time. Well i arrived home about 1.20pm to find that it hadn't been delivered.( what the F**K) So i phoned them with the tracking number stating that it should have been here at 12am but it wasn't. The guy on the phone said that it was impossible for them to get a parcel from Wales to Scotland within 24 hours, BULL S**T i said, it only takes 9 hours tops to drive it. Then he comes up with all these excuses about going through the system and arriving at these depots. I don't give a S**T about depots, where the F**K is my bike? He said sorry about the inconvenience sir it should arrive at the Inverness depot tomorrow morning. Well i say F**k Parcel Force if my bike hasn't arrived at like 9am someone is F***ing dead. Guaranteed 12am next day my ass, more like guaranteed not to arrive at 12am next day. D**k heads. This happened to me about a 3 weeks ago.

Yeah the Ashton website is down at the moment due to them working out a deal with Orange. As far as i can tell you can only buy the Justice mod as a whole bike, but being £400 that ain't so bad.

I agree with what your saying they are a popular band and that's my whole point they're POP music. The whole pop scene is made up of brain dead idiots that buy crap music. You cant determine how good a band is by how many albums they've released either, look at Cradle of Filth they've made something like 13 albums and they aren't seen as an amazing band. I dent like them personally but that's a hell of a lot more work than half these other bands put into their music. The reason reason bands like the chilli's are big is because they've sold out big time and now it's the same people that listen to all the other unoriginal bands that are in the pop section that are buying there stuff. There's more original music out there that's to be discovered but wont be because people are obsessed with the same overplayed corporate crap.

But there's also a lot of people on here that don't like that either. Just my opinion though. I don't like bands that are played on the radio 5 times a day, you just get sick of hearing the same stuff over and over. As for both of these band neither of them is original, all of their songs/albums sound the same. As for the Emo comment, I'm not a sad asshole that sits in his room listening to crap bands considering whether i should end it or not. Both bands were good in the start but then sold out and started producing the same rubbish.

No you can braze onto aluminium but you have to get it heat treated after so that it doesn't weaken the frame. Yeah hope made a specially designed caliper and hub for non disk frames but they are hard to come by now. Woodman make a Disk brace type thing as-well. I'll try and find a picture Thats the one.

Why don't you just get the frame then have some disc tabs brazed on?
