  1. Sad that Deng dosent put rear disc mounts on his stock frames Or even better, one disc frame and one rimbrake version like the mods often seems to be!
  2. I think many of the SL parts looks really good. The 09 Control frame sounds very intresting too, wounder if it dual disc? The dengura brake levers looks nicely designed, wounder if Echo will make a disc brake too?
  3. Brilliant video! Is the Ashton frame still on sale, long time sense I saw one on the web or is this a new model?
  4. No disc mount on the stock?
  5. If the stem is 15mm over the end of the steere tube, is that way to short? Dont want to take a chance with this!
  6. That looks realy nice. I know what you mean with the weather, not very bikefriendly
  7. Maybe thats tru. I have TryAll tires and if you look at the tirepattern and put it like you "think" it should be its wrong way around according to the rotation arrow at the side of the tire.
  8. 100% sure its Zhi, I have owned a pair in 26" before.
  9. Cant enter your site today, not yesterday either. It says forbidden, what wrong?
  10. Nice job, but my personal choice would be the flat black horizontal version. Witch I, by the way are waiting patiently for to arrive at my door. My own christmas present
  11. The bolt on skewer is nearly the same as a quickrelease. I was more thinking of a real bolt, but as Ali said it seams hard to do. On the other hand my father got all the machines at work to be able to do an axel. So the quickrelease and the 20mm version is the same hub but with diffrent endcaps?
  12. Is there any way to make a Hope Pro 2 front hub "bolt on" instead of quickrelease?
  13. First i thought "Oh no". But the more i look the more i like it. Is that stickers or is it laser etched? Will you release forks, rims, hubs and more parts aswell? Great work there Rav!
  14. That does work but it has a tendens to move around so the pressure is uneven. On the Deng headset it will not work because the bearing i futher out than the cup is. I cant se the reason to make headsets where you cant take the bearing out of the cup, is that stronger somehow? Hope does not use that system and their headsets are just as fine as the Kings.
  15. Make a pair that fit thoose tricky Deng headsets to, and the Chris King ones aswell. I got a Parktool headsetpress but its hard to fit thoose two headsets with it, it will press on the bearing instead of the cup.
  16. Sweet. Where do you buy that frame, havent seen it anywhere on the net?
  17. The BT Raven 8.0 will be released in november, realy looking foorward to that. I think Simtra will release a new model soon but i may be wrong there. This can be a good thread, hope someone have some pics of new models to post here.
  18. Thoose rims looks like Echo but I did not know they made purple rims. What brand is it?
  19. I have one of thoose to on my bike, they are not fun to install. I used my headset press to install it but it was hard to find away not to press on the bearing. If you use a mallet and a peice of wood you have to be very careful or you can hurt the bearing. The best would be to have a very short pipe that has the exact same diameter as the cup so it does not touch the bearing, then hammer on the pipe to get the headset to slide in to the frame. Well its a bit hard to explain but i think you get what i mean.
  20. That Sheldon Brown guide is gold!
  21. I have a headset press and its worth the money, its so easy to install the headset and no worries you will ruin the headset or frame. But thoose Deng headsets are a pain in the ass, you cant take the bearing out and the bearing goes further out than the cup so the press will hit the bearing instead of the cup.
  22. Try these http://zhibikes.com.ua/adapters.html they should be great dealing with, just give them a mail and they help you out on english. Or these site http://www.biketrial.co.nz/_sgg/m3_1.htm . Or this one, I have ordered from these guys one time and they are god http://www.zhibike.cz/E_katalog.htm
  23. That bike looks realy nice. Is not the fork anodised since the Echo logo is still there or is it a sticker?
  24. I dont think the +40 adaptor will snapp any easyer than the +20. Take a look at it, I think it will be stronger since you move the caliper up rather than out from the discmount. http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=23
